The caretaker Federal Government has announced a public holiday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, 2024.
Furthermore, a notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division stating that “5th February is declared as a Public Holiday on account of the “Kashmir Solidarity Day.”
It added that a one minute silence shall she observed at 1000 hours (10:00 am) to honor Kashmiri Shuhada.

Meanwhile, there are conferences and demonstrations planned across major cities to highlight the atrocities committed by Indian troops in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
