The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has announced holidays for Eid ul Adha, according to a notification issued by the relevant department. The holidays will be observed from June 17 to June 19, which are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
As these dates coincide with the weekend, citizens in KP will enjoy a total of five days off, starting from Saturday. This holiday schedule aligns with the federal government’s recently announced Eid ul Adha holidays for the same dates.
Moreover, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared that banks will also be closed from June 17 to 19. Given that these dates fall near the weekend, all commercial banks will effectively remain closed for five days.
