FATA : 15 killed & 40 injured in a blast at bus stand in Jamrud – UPDATED

20 people were killed and 40 injured in a powerful car bomb explosion at Jamrud in Khyber Agency on Monday.Political Administration of the Agency said that the explosion took place at Jamrud bazar. Several shops were also damaged in the explosion.The injured are being treated at Hayatabad Medical Complex‚ Lady Reading Hospital and Sherpao Hospital Peshawar.

 

A blast in Jamrud Khyber Agency while at least fifteen-people have been killed and forty-four injured in a blast at a bus stand in main Jamrud Bazaar.

Following the blast fire engulfed the shops in the surrounding areas.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and rescue operation is continuing.

The injured and dead bodies have been shifted to Hyatabad Medical Complex and Khyber Teaching Hospital‚ Peshawar.

Meanwhile‚ three-persons were killed in firing by unknown gunmen in Quetta this morning.

Those killed include Director Public Relations Khadim Hussain Noori and two police personnel.Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani has strongly condemned the incident.
