Merger of FATA into KP should be done at earliest for development of region: PTI Chief

Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan says peace has been restored in tribal areas due to armed forces’ operations and tribals’ matchless sacrifices.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Friday afternoon, he said the merger of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be done at the earliest for development of the region.

Imran Khan said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can appropriately administer tribal areas due to its closeness with it.

He said it is high time to give tribal people their due rights of development and prosperity.

Imran Khan said after the merger , FCR will be abolished and the tribal people will find a forum in the form of Provincial Assembly for the solution of their problems.
