The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced changes in timings for Ramadan 2024. A notification has been issued outlining the adjustments, effective from the 1st of Ramadan, which is scheduled to commence from March 11, 2024.
As per the notification, all hearings in the Lahore High Court (LHC) will take place from Monday to Thursday, commencing at 9 am and concluding at 1:30 pm. During these days, there will be a court recess from 11 am to 11:30 am. However, on Fridays, court sessions will run from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Similarly, Civil and Session Courts will operate from Monday to Thursday, spanning from 9 am to 3 pm, and on Fridays, from 9 am to 1 pm. These changes aim to accommodate the observance of Ramadan while ensuring the continuity of legal processes.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD), the Ramadan moon is expected to be sighted on March 10 and there would be cold weather during the first ten days of the holy month.
