Islamabad ends lockdown for Peshawar Mor & Karachi Company

ISLAMABAD: After more than two weeks the Islamabad Administration has ended lockdown for Peshawar Mor (G-9/2 amd G-9/3) and Karachi Company (G9 Markaz).

A notification has been issued by the District Magistrate Office informing of the decision to de-seal Peshawar Mor and Karachi Company although it is stated that the areas will be regulated by prevailing orders of Section 144.

If anyone is found in violation of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) strict legal action will be taken against them. The notification further instructs the deputy commissioner to ensure compliance of SOPs.

Furthermore, Islamabad has also sealed multiple other sectors after several coronavirus cases were reported from these areas. These include G-6/1, G-6/2, G-7/2, G-10/4 and Phase 4-A and 5-A of Ghouri town.
