According to the Flood Warning Division in Lahore‚ rivers of the country are observing low to high level of flood at various places. At Chashma‚ River Indus is in high flood while at Gaddu Barrage it is in medium flood.
River Jehlum and Ravi are flowing normal.
River Chenab is in low flood at Marala and Qadirabad while it is in medium flood at Khanki.
River Sutluj is in low flood at Ganda Singh.
According to the Flood Warning Division‚ warnings have been issued to the DCOs of Narowal‚ Sialkot‚ Gujranwala and Lahore where Nullah Basanter flows.
Similarly the DCOs of Mianwali‚ Bhakkar and Layyah and Sargodha have also been warned about the flood situation.
Pakistan faces such situation almost every year, after which Flood becomes the destiny of this country, corrupt administration is one big reason behind the loss of innocent lives in this Floods however present government hasn’t proclaimed any death toll yet.
