Motorway police helpline has confirmed that the motorways has been closed due to on going protests within the city entrance.
Most effected Lahore Motorway toll where traffic is stuck to enter within the city since 15 hours – Motorway police helpline cannot confirm any estimated time to re-open Lahore Toll.

As people of Pakistan woke up today, they have been coming across all sorts of chaos and confusions. First an operation to end the Tehreek Labaik Dharna that had been going on for the last 19 days at Faizabad. PEMRA issues notice to close the news channels , facebook, twitter and you tube closed down.
The government summoned Pakistan Army 111 Brigade in Islamabad while the Punjab government called Rangers to maintain the law and order situation in the province as violence escalates across the country.
These activities of the Tehreek Labaik Dharna however seems like haven’t subsided. It’s not only Punjab that has been affected, but the chaos has escalated to Karachi and Hyderabad as well.
Motorway M2, M3 & M4 are closed, people are stuck there since morning, and there is no way of knowing further, how long they will remain closed as it all depends on the situation.
