New Petrol Price in Pakistan: March 1 2025

The government has announced a welcome reduction in fuel prices, set to take effect from March 1, 2025, just in time for the start of Ramadan.

This move aims to ease the financial burden on citizens amid rising costs.

Starting this Saturday, the price of petrol will decrease by Rs0.50 per litre, bringing it down to Rs255.63 from the previous Rs256.13. High-speed diesel (HSD) will see a slight adjustment, rising by Rs5.31 to Rs263.95 per litre from Rs258.64.

Meanwhile, other fuels are getting more significant relief: kerosene oil will now cost Rs168.12 per litre (down from Rs171.65), and light diesel oil will drop to Rs153.34 per litre, a decrease of Rs2.47 from Rs155.81.
