Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced to restore Mohenjo Daro Express from July 20 on the directives of Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Mohenjo Daro Express is going to consist of eight economy coaches and will operate between Dadu and Habib Kot.
According to CEO of Pakistan Railways, Salman Sadiq Sheikh, if the Mohenjo Daro Express is successful, PR will restore Bolan Express as well.
However, he added that restoration of Khushal Khan Khattak is not currently viable.
Furthermore, the CEO said that Pakistan Railways has decided to shift to solar energy in order to reduce the economic burden. However, he did not share any timeline as to when the transition will be complete.
