The government has decided to maintain the petrol prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 March to 31 March 2024. According to the details, the government has decided to keep the price of petrol unchanged, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced for the next fortnight.
According to the announcement, the petrol price will remain at Rs. 279.75 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs. 1.77 per litre.
This brings the new price of high-speed diesel (HSD) to Rs. 285.56 per litre.

The latest diesel and petrol prices in Pakistan will become effective on March 16, 2024, for the second half of the month.
The Finance Division has released a notification in this regard as well.
In the last fortnightly review, the caretaker Federal Government decided to increase the petrol price in Pakistan by Rs. 4.13 per litre to Rs. 279.75 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was unchanged.
