Petrol Prices in Pakistan: Expected Petrol Prices From March 16

The federal government might reduce petrol prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight, starting March 16, 2024. According to reports, the government may announce a reduction of Rs. 5.00 per litre for petrol and Rs. 4.80 per litre for high-speed diesel (HSD).

The reduction in the price of petroleum products is expected due to a downward trend in the price of Brent crude, which has dropped to $81.82 per barrel in the international market. If the price reduction takes place as reported, the new price of petrol will be Rs. 274.61 per liter, while high-speed diesel will be reduced to Rs. 283.12 per litre.

Current Petrol Price in Pakistan

  • Petrol Price – Rs. 279.62 per litre
  • Diesel Price – Rs. 287.33 per litre

The Finance Ministry will announce the final prices for petrol and diesel by midnight on March 15, 2024, after consultation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
