PNS Aslat arrived with 147 Pakistanis from Yemen

Pakistan Naval Ship ( PNS ) ‘Aslat’ carrying 146 Pakistani citizens and 36 foreigners has reached Karachi today after their evacuation from Al-Mukalla.

The foreigners rescued by PNS Aslat from Al-Mukalla in Yemen includes eleven Indians, eight Chinese, five from Philippines, four from Britain, two from Syria, two Indonesians and one each from Canada, Egypt, Jordan and UAE.

While another Pakistan Navy Ship ‘Shamsheer’ has sailed from Al Hudaydah for Djibouti today, after evacuating 36 Pakistanis and 15 foreign nationals including four from Bangladesh, two each from Romania and Yemen, three from Qatar and one each from Ethiopia, Germany, Philippines and UK, stranded in Yemen.

PNS Shamsheer will reach Djibouti port today, from where the Pakistanis will be brought to home.
