The Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar announced that private schools fees will be discounted by 20% to provide relief to the parents during the time of lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.
CM Usman Buzdar took to Twitter to make the announcement saying that during this time, all teachers and school staff are to be paid in full and on time.
He continued saying that during this time, no school in Punjab is allowed or permitted to expel or fire any teachers of staff from their position.

Murad Raas also later took to Twitter announcing the same saying that the School Education Department will stand by parents during these difficult times of the coronavirus crisis.
The School Education Department of Punjab also tweeted saying that a notification about this decision will be shared shortly.
