Punjab Govt confirms first death in Lahore from COVID-19

As the coronavirus spreads, the first death has been reported Lahore, Punjab this afternoon by Dr Yasmin Rashid as the country’s total rises to 903 nationwide.

Dr Yasmin Rashid took to Twitter to confirm the death of a 57 year old coronavirus patient who was under treatment is Mayo Hospital in Lahore.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country have reached 903 and the virus has claimed 7 lives including a doctor in Gilgit Baltistan who was treating and tending to coronavirus patients when he contracted the virus.

The total number of coroanvirus cases in Punjab have reached 265 and the province in currently under lockdown with all non essential businesses being closed.
