Punjab Govt setups 3000 bedded Quarantine facility in Multan

MULTAN: The Government of Punjab turn newly constructed flats into Quarantine facility for 3,000 suspected patients of Novel Coronavirus (CODVID19) in Multan.

According to the reports so far, 100 Bedded Hospital is operational with 300 staff personals.

The Quarantine facility hospital in Multan can be extended to 6,000 bedded hospital.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar visited the facility yesterday along with other health officials.

Chief Minister also said that the provincial government has allocated Rs 5 Billion funds in order to curtail the risk of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID19).

Govt of Punjab directs to keep Grocery Stores and Pharmacies open for 24 hours

The Government of Punjab has directed Grocery stores and Pharmacies to remain open 24 hours across the province.

According to the notification issued earlier, The Government has barred employees and the general public from visiting the government offices.

The Government has also closed the tourist spots including Murree including all the shopping malls, cafes, and restaurants to shut their shops by 10:00 pm.

Similar action was taken by the Government of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier this week to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Earlier, Sindh Government turned Labour flats in Sukkur into a Quarantine Facility Hospital where Zaireens from Iran are being Quarantined.
