LAHORE: Mobile phone services in Punjab may end up being suspended on the 9th and 10th of Muharram as a security measure on the recommendation of the Punjab Home Department.
A meeting that was held in Lahore chaired by the Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat to review and discuss the law and order situation in the province on 9th and 10th Muharram.

The Punjab Home Department has recommended that mobile phone services should be suspended on these days as part of security measures in selective areas.
The meeting which was attended by divisional commissioners and regional police officers ended up finalizing a the plan for security regarding Muharram ul Haram.
