Punjab Police Announces Hundreds of Jobs in Mega Recruitment Drive

The Punjab Police has announced hundreds of jobs as part of their mega recruitment drive for the positions of Senior Station Assistant (SSA) and Police Station Assistant (PSA).

According to the details, there are 21 vacancies for the position of SSA, while a total of 835 vacancies are available for PSA position.

Eligibility

For Senior Station Assistant (SSA) position, the candidates must be aged 18 to 25 years and possess a domicile from their relevant district.

Meanwhile, the minimum educational qualification for this position is intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) with three years of experience in the relevant field.

As for Police Station Assistant (PSA) position, the candidate needs a degree in ICS with 3 years of work experience, a computer certificate from a recognized institute and command on English language with typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (WPM) and 25 WPM in Urdu.

Additional Information

As part of their inclusivity measures, the Punjab Police has reserved a 15% quota for women, while 5% and 3% has been allocated for minorities and disabled individuals.

Written and Typing Test

Punjab Police will conduct a written test followed by a typing test in order to make sure candidates meet requirements. Those who pass these tests successfully will be called to interviews.
