As temperatures rise in Punjab, the province’s Education Minister has announced the summer vacation 2024 schedule for schools and colleges, following the pattern of previous years. Typically, the summer break begins in June and lasts until August.
According to the details, the summer vacation is scheduled to start on June 7, 2024, and end on August 19, 2024, as confirmed by the Education Minister. An official notification from the Education Department will be issued in the coming weeks.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) previously warned of peak temperatures potentially reaching 49.5 degrees Celsius in June. Additionally, August may see temperatures soaring to a high of 48.63 degrees Celsius.
