The Punjab Government has decided to suspend cellular / mobile phone services in Lahore, Rawalpindi and other major cities across the province on 9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Haram.
However, the Punjab Government has not mentioned exact timings during which mobile phone services will remain suspended in Lahore, Rawalpindi and other major cities.
It is pertinent to mention that mobile phone services will remain suspended particularly in areas of Lahore, Rawalpindi and other big cities through which processions will pass, and not in other areas of these cities.
The districts where there will be suspension of mobile phone services are Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Attock, Dera Ghazi Khan and other large districts.
