The Regional Meteorological Centre in Lahore has issued a weather update for Punjab and Kashmir for today (Wednesday).
According to the update, the weather is expected to remain very cold and dry in Kashmir, Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat and surrounding areas.
Similarly, the weather is expected to remain cold and dry in all districts of Punjab province, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and other cities.
Mist is expected at isolated places in plain areas of Punjab during morning hours, while there is no prediction of rain in both Punjab and Kashmir.
The weather update also stated that frost is expected in Kashmir, Potohar region and a few places in plain areas of the Punjab province during morning hours.
During the last 24 hours, frost was observed in Mangla, Mandi Bahauddin, Faisalabad, Chakwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Lahore Airport, Narowal, Bahawalpur Airport and Khanpur.
