QUETTA: At least five people were left dead and another 15 injured according to different sources in a blast that took place near Quetta Press Club at Shahra-e-Iqbal Road.
Quetta Blast UPDATE: At least seven dead and 21 injured so far.
According to police, the blast damaged nearby buildings and many vehicles and the area was cordoned off by the police who started an investigation into the incident.
The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals for medical support and emergency has been declared in Quetta Civil Hospital with other relief efforts taking place in the area.
The cause of the blast is still unknown and authorities are investigating the incident.
People are coming out to Twitter with photos and videos from the scene of the blast.
