Rail fares to be increased from next month

LAHORE: Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said rail fares are being increased by six to seven percent from 1st July, 2019.

The increase in rail fares the expenditures of Pakistan railways have soared due to an increase in oil prices in the International Market.

Three new freight trains are being launched from Karachi – Sheikh Rashid added.

Earlier, Jinnah Express accident with a freight train near Hyderabad, Pakistan Railways blames the negligence of the driver which caused the accident.
