Shehbaz Sharif sent to jail

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) President and Leader of the opposition Shehbaz Sharif who appeared before the court in Ashiana Housing Scheme case has been sent to jail. 

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sought an extension in Shehbaz sharif’s remand, The court rejected the plea to extend it further and ordered to send Shehbaz Sharif to jail.

Shehbaz Sharif was arrested by NAB on October 5, 2018 in connection with Ashiana Housing Scheme case. The physical remand ended today.

PML-N workers gathered outside the court, according to reports some were also injured as baton charge and some were taken into custody  by Punjab Police.
