Sialkot Airport To Remain Closed For 16 Days in December

The Sialkot Airport will remain closed for international and domestic flights in December for 16 days to carry out maintenance work.

According to the details, the Sialkot Airport will remain closed from December 5 to December 20 to carry out repair work on the runway.

“It is intimidated that in order to improve the riding quality and mitigate FOD issues, a major rehabilitation work on SIAL RUNWAY 04/22 will commence with effect from 5th December 2022, 0900 hrs to 20th December 2022, 2359 hrs (Local times) for 16 days.” said a letter issued by Sialkot International Airport.

In the meantime, Lahore and Islamabad Airports will be used as alternatives.
