The Government of Sindh has announced four public holidays for Eid ul Azha 2023 that will commence from 28th June 2023 and conclude on 1st July 2023.
In a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, it was stated, “The Government of Sindh declares 28th June to 01st July 2023 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) as Public Holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2023 throughout the Province of Sindh,”
The notification added that holidays for Eid ul Azha will be applicable for all government offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh.
However, there will be an exception for essential services.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways has announced special trains and discounted fares for passengers on Eid ul Adha.
