The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday for all public and private schools and colleges, which will remain closed on Wednesday (8 March 2023) on the account of Shab-e-Barat, which will be observed tonight.
According to the Chairman of the All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association, Haider Ali Shah, all public and private schools in Sindh will remain closed on 8 March 2023 on account of Shab-e-Barat.
He added that Shab-e-Barat’s holiday is fixed every year on the Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee. Furthermore, he noted that March 23 will also be a public holiday for all schools and colleges in the province.
It is pertinent to mention that Sindh Government had also declared a public holiday for all Hindu employees on account of Holi on 6th and 7th March.
