The secretary of the Sindh Bar Council, Irfan Ali Mahar, was shot dead in Karachi on Wednesday. The 40-year-old victim was attacked by two men on a motorcycle while returning home after dropping his kids to school.
According to the details, Irfan Ali Mahar was shot multiple times and succumbed to his wounds while being transported to the hospital. The video of the incident is trending with hashtag #JusticeForIrfanMahar as they demand Justice for Irfan Mahar.

The police reached the scene of the crime soon after it was reported and cordoned off the area while beginning their investigation into the incident. However, it is clear from the video that the men did not try to rob Irfan Ali Mahar and directly shot him several times.
It is pertinent to mention that Irfan Mahar was a lawyer at the Sindh High Court and the bar council has extended their condolences on the incident, demanding that those responsible be brought to justice.
