The Government of Sindh has changed school timings across the province due to the the severity of cold.
The School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) in Sindh has issued a notification in this regard. “With approval of competent authority in view of the prevailing waves of severe cold in the province, all the Government and Private Educational Institutions under the Administrative Control of School Education and Literacy Department shall function from 8:30 am.”
The notification added that new school timings shall remain application until 31 January 2024 across Sindh.

It is pertinent to mention that Sindh had announced winter vacations across the province from December 22 to December 31, 2023.
