KARACHI: Sindh Government has announced Ashura holidays. The notification was issued on 5th September 2019. The Muharram Holidays will be of four days this year.
The Notification was issued by Government of Sindh Services, General Administtration and Coordination Department. The notification reads.
The Government of Sindh has been pleased to declare 9th and 10th Septemeber, 2019 (Monday and Tuesday) as public holidays throughout the province of Sindh, on the ocassion of Ashura (9th and 10th Moharrum-ul-Harram 1441 A.H) for all offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh except essential services.

This year it is going to be four days holidays. As the Ashura fall on Monday and Tuesday,following the weekend that is Saturday and Sunday.
