Sindh Govt Announces Public Holiday on 4 April

The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday on 4 April 2023 (Tuesday) on account of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In a notification, it was stated, “The Government of Sindh declares 4th April, 2023 (Tuesday) as a Public Holiday on the occasion of “44th Martyrdom Anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto”, Ex-Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan,”

According to the notification, the public holiday in Sindh will be observed by “all offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the administrative control of Sindh Government.”

However, the public holiday is not applicable for essential service personnel.
