Sindh Govt extends Summer Holidays notification issued

KARACHI: The Sindh Department of Education has decided to extend school holidays until August 14 due to weather conditions.

The notification has been issued on the instructions of Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah.

Considering the intensity of heat and the possibility of heavy rains, the decision to extend the holidays has been made, stated Minister of Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah.

Activities and co-curricular activities related to August 14 will continue in schools, according to the Sindh Education Minister.

All private and public schools will hold programs related to Independence Day, said Sardar Shah.

The new academic year in Sindh will start on August 15 after the holidays, according to the Sindh Education Minister.
