The Government of Sindh has announced that all Muslim employees will get their salary and pension in advance ahead of Eid ul Adha, which is going to fall on 28th or 29th June 2023, subject to appearance of the moon.
A notification issued by the Sindh Government’s Finance Department stated, “The Government of Sindh is pleased to decide that full pay and allowances / full pension for the month of June, 2023 shall be paid in advance to all Employees / Pensioners of Provincial Government of Sindh (including work-charged and contingent paid establishment),”
According to the notification, the Government will pay salary and pensions in advance on 23rd June 2023 instead of 1st July 2023 since Eid ul Adha is expected to fall on either 28th or 29th June 2023.
