Sindh to Give Free Goats to Children on Eid ul Adha 2024

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced that sacrificial goats will be distributed among orphaned children and those whose guardians were victims of robbery as Eid-ul-Adha is just a few weeks away. This initiative aims to bring joy and support to these children during the festive period.

The announcement was made during Governor Tessori’s visit to a welfare trust office in Sohrab Goth, where he also donated two camels for “Ijtamai Qurbani.” Speaking to the media, Governor Tessori explained that the goats will be distributed at the Governor House, starting three days before Eid, which is expected to fall on June 17 in Pakistan. The distribution is expected to begin on June 14.

Furthermore, the governor revealed that 100 camels will be sacrificed during Eid, and their meat will be distributed among the deserving and orphans, ensuring that more people in need benefit from this charitable act.

The initiative is specifically aimed at:

  • Orphaned children
  • Children whose guardians were victims of robbery

Start Date for Goat Distribution in Sindh

The distribution of goats will commence three days prior to Eid-ul-Adha. If Eid falls on June 17, the distribution will start on June 14. However, the final date will be announced after sighting of the Zilhaj crescent.
