KARACHI: A Police Officer signing off from his duty changing his clothes infront of female inmates, the officer was suspended for this act after the video went viral on social media.

According to reports, the incident was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media. Showing the Thana culture in Pakistan.

The footage shows the officer changing his shirt in front of two women at the Liaquatabad police station.

The incident sparked widespread outrage and raised serious concerns about the ethical conduct of the police force.

The officer in the video has been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Parvez.

The video shows the women looking visibly uncomfortable and turning away as he changed uniforms. It is alleged that ASI Parvez had summoned the women to the station in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) West Irfan Baloch took immediate action and suspended ASI Parvez for his inappropriate behavior.

Senior officials have strongly condemned the incident, stating that such conduct is unacceptable and will be addressed with the appropriate disciplinary measures.

Thana culture in Pakistan needs immediate reforms and disciplinary actions across the country, this is just one of the moment captured and video went viral on social media, Government should make all the Police Station footages specially SHO’s room go public so they can behave like an officers instead of some bollywood movies.
