Prominent businessman and two-time Asian Games Gold Medalist, Byram D Avari, has passed away at the age of 81. “The funeral prayers will be held at the Khorshed Villa, inside the compound of Beach Luxury Hotel at 1 pm on Monday, 23rd January, 2023.” his family announced.
Byram D Avari was the owner and chairman of Avari Group of Companies, a leading hotel management company in Pakistan that operates a hotel chain by the name of Avari Hotels, which includes a 5-star deluxe hotel in Lahore, the 5-star Avari Towers and the seafront Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi.
Furthermore, the group also obtained contracts for several international hotels, including a 200-room hotel in Dubai and a 200-room hotel named Ramada Inn, which is located at Pearson Airport in Canada.
