All public and private schools across the province of Sindh will remain closed on August 26 (Monday) on account of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
According to the notification, all educational institutions under the administrative control of the School Education Department and the College Education Department shall remain closed on August 26 (Monday).
A notification has been issued by the respective departments announcing the school holiday across the province of Sindh.

The Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) marks the culmination of a 40-day mourning period and several processions are taken out across different cities of the province.
