Zil-Haj moon sighted; Eid-ul-Azha to be celebrated on Oct 16

KARACHI: Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on October 16 in Pakistan as Zil-Haj moon has been sighted.

The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee met at the Met Complex to decide about the sighting or otherwise of the Zil-Haj moon.

Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehmanl presided over the meeting. The meeting commenced after the Asr prayers. The Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on the 10th day of Zil-Haj.
