Staff of Special Children’s School in Islamabad Caught Torturing Students

In a heart-wrenching incident, the staff of a special children’s school in H-9 Sector of Islamabad, the National Special Education Centre for Hearing Impaired Children, was caught torturing and beating differently-abled children.

The video of the incident went viral on social media and sparked outrage with netizens demanding serious action against the staff members seen beating and torturing young students at the special children’s insitute.

In the viral videos, one staff member could be seen grabbing a student and pulling him by the hair mercilessly as well as beating sleeping students with a shoe, while another video shows another staff member brutally beating / striking differently-abled students with a stick.

Action Being Taken

The viral videos have come to the attention of Islamabad Police, who says that action is being taken against the culprits as per law.

Furthermore, the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Human Rights has also taken notice of the incident and Chairperson, Mehreen Bhutto, has assured of strict action against the staff members of the National Special Education Centre for Hearing Impaired Children in H-9 Islamabad who were involved in the mistreatment of these special children.
