Sunni Ulema Council (SUC) leader Maulana Masood Ur Rehman Usmani was killed in Islamabad on Friday. According to the details, Maulana Masood Usmani was shot dead by unknown assailants in Islamabad’s Ghauri Town area.
The Islamabad Police stated that unknown armed men opened fire at the vehicle of SUC Deputy General Secretary Maulana Masood Usmani and fled the scene.
Soon after the tragic incident took place, the police reached the crime scene and cordoned off the area to being their investigation.
The incident has caused a massive protest Koral Expressway, which has resulted in traffic disruption in the area. Therefore, all commuters are advised to check traffic updates before heading in that direction.
