The National Logistics Cell (NLC) has completed most of the work on the three lanes of Lahore’s Kalma Chowk and partially opened them accommodate to combat the increasing traffic at the intersection.
Despite the completion data of June 2023, the NLC has completed three out of five lanes that would be constructed at Kalma Chowk.
However, the partial opening of the three lanes would provide convenience to commuters and reduce travel times as well.
The NLC has also urged citizens to strictly follow traffic regulations and observe speed limit to prevent any untoward incident during the construction work.
Furthermore, the partial opening will help during the PSL 8 matches that are scheduled to be held in Lahore from 12-19 March. While a match is scheduled to be played at the Qaddafi Stadium on 4th March, all the PSL 8 matches between 5-12 March will be played in Rawalpindi.
