SHEIKHUPURA: Two youngsters fell into a canal and drowned while filming a TikTok video in Sheikhupura, according to the police on Monday.
According to the details, the two friends were standing near a canal in Bhikhi village when they lost balance and fell in the water.
The deceased were identified as 17-year-old Zeeshan and 20-year-old Sajid. Both friends belonged to Raiwind area in Lahore.
Furthermore, the body of one of the victims was recovered and moved to the District Headquarter Hospital while search is underway to rescue the other victim’s body from the canal.
Similar incidents are reported all too often in Pakistan where youngsters are met with fatal accidents while filming TikTok videos.
Recently, a young man passed away in Rawalpindi after being hit by a speeding train while he was making a TikTok video.
