Unannounced loadshedding continued in parts of Karachi last night amid the extremely hot weather, making it extremely difficult for citizens to get through the night.
Furthermore, those citizens who are under quarantine after being tested positivity for the coronavirus, suffered even more because of hours long unannounced loadshedding in Karachi.
However, a KE spokesperson has denied such claims and said that the power supply was normal in the city with only Korangi experiences a power outages due a fault that was being rectified.
According to reports, the power supply remained suspended in various parts of the city, including New Karachi, North Karachi, Nagan Chowrangi, UP Society, Gulberg, Kharadar, Scheme 22 and several other areas.
Meanwhile, the business owners in the city are complaining of the negative impact this announced loadshedding is having on their businesses.
