WEATHER UPDATE: Karachi rain to continue till Monday

WEATHER UPDATE: Karachi rain is expected to continue from Saturday till Monday along with other parts of Sindh according to a notification notification published by the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Rain in Sindh

According to the notification, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Tharparkar, Nagarpaker, Mirpurkhas, Islam Kot, Umar Kot, Sanghar, Sukkur and Larkana.

Rain in Balochistan

Furthermore, rain thundershowers with isolated heavy falls are expected in parts of Balochistan Labella. Khuzdar, Awaran, Barkhan, Zhob, Musa Khel, Loralai, Kohlu and Sibi during Sunday and Monday.

Rain in Punjab

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Punjab as well including Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Khanewal and Sahiwal.

Urban Flooding Expected

There may be urban flooding in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Mirpurkhas, Badin due to the heavy rain and as a result all concerned authorities have been requested to remain alert.
