Zameen.com unveils an online map database

Adding to the accessibility of its users, Zameen.com, the largest real estate portal of Pakistan, has rolled out a map section which describes in detail the specific plot positions along with their respective numbers. The introduction of this section is in compliance to the increasing demands of its customers.

While the map section contributes to be an added bonus for the local investors, it is observed to be uniquely beneficial for the overseas investors who visit Pakistan during Eids. Even though the online portal already pinpoints precise locations of its property adverts through Google maps yet the introduction of the map section is proving to be a great success.

When inquired about the map section while already being powered by Google maps, Zeeshan Ali Khan, Co-Founder Zameen.com, said that the aim of the map section is to enhance the user experience, since Google maps lack the representation of precise plot numbers of residential societies. He said that the maps on Zamen.com give users a clear representation of planned developments along with pictorial layouts of the yet-to-be-delivered projects.

Zameen.com, while publicising positive feedback about the new map section, said that nearly 40 per cent of its online traffic comes from foreign countries which represent a strong international investor interest. The online portal claimed that, unlike the local investors, who can visit locations instantly, the international investor can conveniently access a virtual tour through its maps section.

The online portal is currently delivering a crystal clear representation of the residential and commercial developments of three major cities of Pakistan i.e. Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi in high resolution. The map section is scheduled for further growth in future as Zameen.com aims to make it the largest online map resource of Pakistan.

Zameen.com already holds the honour of creating a revolution in the property market by digitalising the real estate sector of Pakistan. The rolling out of the map section is further assisting its users in making educated investment decisions while at the same time, saving their time and providing them with dependable contacts of authentic real estate brokerages.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
