GFive Brovo G95 – My Review Updated Post

UPDATED INFO :

The GFive G95 which I reviewed in a market did not had the GPS while thanks to Fawad Aslam for providing me the screen shot which shows that it has the GPS. This shows that there are 2 types of Same Phones in the market which is confusing so next time when you go and get G95 kindly check the GPS. Here’s the Screen Shot Screenshot_2012-12-21-17-44-41

On various sites people are comparing Brovo G95 with Noir A8, where as they have slight price difference, first of all let me clear it that, G95 does not have GPS which makes it even less than A6, Now the price range is around 13500/- PKS  This phone has single core processor and not upgradable meanwhile If the price tag was less than 13 even around 12,500/- would have filled the Gap but having 8 Mega Pixel Camera doesn’t make it Si Fi Set, GFive Cloud Storage is same like Drop Box , Sky Drive or Box.net having storage extra space. I am expecting good phones of the actual Gfive which are on their website If you find out about this phone in market they will say OMG this is the best phone ever been in this market just because Market guy wants to sell it off he cares about his profit not you, later you explore it and if you are Gamer and Technical person you wont be able to enhance it as the way you can with upgradable phones. Many asked about this phone from me and My views were moderate since everyone has there own choice.

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share

  1. Gfive is confusing the official website has other models where as those which are available in Pakistan are not mentioned there. In Karachi Market people know it as China Phone but G5 is Indian company thou it doesn't matter china indiia or russia as far the device is good along with specification

  2. sir u are giving wrong info to the people it has a GPS and its far more better in speed than noir A8 sir always try to check the set properly than share with every one

    1. Fawad send me the screen shot of GPS . I am sorry if i am wrong but i checked myself and i didnt find GPS option in it. email me at send2incpak@live.com
I will update the post I know you have bought it and using it so your experience will be useful for all the users .

    2. fawad highly appreciate u shared this to all of us, who are taking interest seems u have used A8 too, thats why comparing the two phones, but as i said in china G95 has two grades pne available for 270 dollars, and othe at 150 dollars, now which one has what u can clearly understand, before i was getting this phone from china, as one of my brother was also interested and frnd was in china, but when frnd went to market, he was unable to judge and informed us abt it, he was unable to confirm whether difference of grades is their or two different shops selling at this much high difference, if it was not the price diff at two shops then we and indians are getting same 150 dollars phone, whether it be same as 270 or not ALLAH knows better, but as long as it is good for us to use we can use technology at a cheaper price
and i personally think that 13.5k is not that low price that one would get shocked for these features to be available, todays prices are same as they should be, i am expecting u will give a video review it will become too better for others who are planning to buy Gfive but just confuse with their quality, being the stamp of ordinary china still their

  3. one thing which is not clear to me and i want to understand as well, i have seen benchmarking test of various standard company results, from fnf directly testing, and they have defference bw them as per specification, but here i saw G95 score more that a dual core A8, 2574 vs 2548 that of A8(source from same site, A8 review). my xperia pro scored about 2000, G95 should score accordingly, thats why i want to ask why G95 scores same like dual cores? and does this score means similar performance or not? and if it does not mean, then what is the use of these bench marking test? if they can not judge the cell phones?

    1. Indeed it scores the same, even myself I been little confused that G5's benchmark but honestly speaking test results differ when the phone is new and fully loaded, there some which does the memory test in which check sd card too now it depends if the users are getting by default Class 4 cards where as for better playback class 6 and 10 are ideal they are expensive thou but I will post the difference for awareness. benchmarking so far G5 been great .
