The ICC World Cup 2023 is in full swing with the most-awaited match between Pakistan vs India scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the ICC World Cup 2023 did not start with an opening ceremony, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a mega ceremony ahead of the match.
According to the details, the musical ceremony will be held before the match between Pakistan vs India on October 14, with high-profile Bollywood celebrities performing at the world’s largest cricket ground.
Secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), Anil Patel, stated that Golden Ticket-Holders will be there to watch the musical ceremony. Many VIPs and big names in Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar and others are expected to attend the match.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan has gone up against India seven times in previous World Cups and holds a poor record as they have lost seven out of seven matches. However, the Green Shirts have shown a good performance so far and we can expect them to break their losing streak against the arch-rivals in the mega-event.
