The most anticipated match of the Asia Cup 2023 – Pakistan vs India – was abandoned due to rain. Despite Pakistan vs India match being abandoned before the start of the second innings, India did manage to set a target of 267 runs for the Men in Green.
India had a rough start with several wickets lost early in the game. However, Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan were able to bring their side back into the game as both of them scored 87 and 82 runs, respectively.
Pakistan gave an outstanding performance during the first innings with Shaheen Afridi taking 4 wickets for just 35 runs, which included Pandya, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja.
Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah claimed three wickets each for Pakistan.
