Ahsan Ali and Will Smeed of the Quetta Gladiators showed some very impressive partnership as the opening batters. Ahsan Ali scored an exceptional 73 runs off 46 balls, while Will Smeed racked up a score of 97 runs off just 62 balls. Both the openers ensured a strong total for the team, but there was no stopping the Peshawar Zalmi, who easily managed the chase of 190.
Peshawar Zalmi may not have had an impressive start like their opponents but they’re batting performance was impressive across the board. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Yasir Khan were able to score 22 and 30 runs off just 16 and 12 balls, respectively.
Haider Ali of the Peshawar Zalmi was able to add 19 to the score total from 21 balls, while Shoaib Malik and Hussain Talat were the true heroes of the game, scoring an impressive 48 and 52 runs, respectively, ensuring the win for the Peshawar Zalmi.
