The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a ‘Grand Opening Ceremony’ for the Pakistan Super League 2024 edition (PSL 9) at the Lahore Gaddafi Stadium, where the first match of the tournament is schedule to take place on February 17, 2024.
According to the details, the PSL 9 opening ceremony will feature this year’s anthem singers, Ali Zafar and Aima Baig, alongside other superstars like Arif Lohar and Noori. It is pertinent to mention that PSL 9’s anthem titled, Khul Ke Khel, has already been released on February 14.
Moreover, the ceremony also promises a fun night of laser and fireworks show. As per the details provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the gates for Gaddafi Stadium will open at 3:30 pm on February 17, while the event is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm.

Tickets for PSL 9 are available for sale via PCB’s official ticketing partner TCS on their official website at pcb.tcs.com.pk or you can visit one of the authorized TCS Express Centres in major cities, the details of which have been provided in the post below.

The annual tournament will start of in Lahore on February 17 and it will be played across four different cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi before concluding on March 18. Foreign players have already started arriving in Pakistan for the tournament that is just two days away.
